MICHAEL MEINES
Practicing Positive Selfishness

Mr. Meines worked in civil service for 33 years before becoming a customer relations teacher for the Army. Mr. Meines believes that everyone has the power to choose their actions, body language, and every word they speak. He believes that we cannot control any other person, including our customers, or choose for them. Mr. Meines speaks nationally using true life and humorous anecdotes to punctuate his philosophy.

Dr. Diamond is a family physician in private practice in Silverdale, Washington and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Washington School of Medicine. He founded and serves as the Director of the nation’s first state-affiliated medical disaster response team, and he has responded to a variety of international disasters. Following Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Diamond served as the Director of the Mass Casualty Triage Unit at the New Orleans convention center. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for the Kitsap Medical Reserve Corps and is one of the founding members of the Board of Directors for Children of the Nations.
